The Instafire brand was created to have an easily ignited and dependable fire starter and fuel. Its company slogan is Safe, Simple & Versatile. It was designed to use in emergencies but also works great for camping, lighting wood stoves, fireplaces, and anytime and anywhere a fire is needed. There are no harmful fumes or chemicals and is safe to use for lighting a fire to be used for cooking. Instafire pouches can be safely stored indoors even right next to food. It lights easily in rain, wind, or snow and has at least a 30 year shelf-life. The individual packets are extremely portable at only 1.8 ounces per pouch.

Instafire lights in less than a second and burns at extreme heat, almost 1000 degrees which is effective even to dry out wet wood. It floats and burns easily even on snow, ice or while it’s rainy cats and dogs. It is made with recycled wood and paraffin. This fire starter/fuel is perfect for hiking, dutch oven cooking, taking on fishing and hunting trips and even skiing, snowboarding, and snow machining in case you get lost and stranded for some time.
