Vegetarian Food Storage

It can be hard to be a vegetarian in everyday life.  In an emergency, when you really can’t afford to be too picky, it can be even harder.  A lot of food storage implements meat and meat bi-products that you don’t want, but at the same time, most of the vegetarian survival kits seem to be the same old stuff.

One of our main goals is to meet everybody’s food storage needs, and that means providing variety. More specifically, it means providing ample variety for both vegetarians and meat eaters. This means making dehydrated and freeze dried foods as well as major staples like rice and beans, and we believe that a lot of our buckets already cater to vegetarian tastes.

For breakfast, you can start with cereal or oatmeal, and if you would like, you can combine these with freeze-dried fruit from strawberries to raspberries.  For lunch and dinner, you can try rice or beans, and if you would like, you can even combine these with freeze dried vegetables.
We offer many options from corn to pineapple to various rice mixes that are ready to eat, and you don’t have to worry about nutrition. Whether you are vegetarian or not, we engineer all of our survival kits and our food storage to be delicious and nutritious.  Each meal has essential vitamins and minerals your body needs, and even protein, something we know vegetarian meals sometimes lack.

To get protein, essential vitamins, and the many other nutrients your body needs, we do recommend buying some of our variety packs of different types of food. Beans for example are a great source of protein, but you won’t get everything you would get from cereals, green beans, or even tomato soup. Once you make your choices though, we are confident that you won’t need to look for more vegetarian food storage options anywhere else.
