LED Lighting for Emergencies
Why do you need lighting in an emergency?  Isn’t it obvious?  You don’t want to stumble around, stub your toe, and possibly worse.  There’s no guarantee that your windows will be letting in any light, even from the moon at night, and things may have crashed down around you.
After an earthquake or other natural disaster, chances are things in your house have fallen down and fallen apart. There may be stray nails, fallen wood, bricks, or plaster, or a number of other things that could get in your way and cause potentially serious injuries.  In addition, stairs could be a particularly big risk, not only because you could fall down, but because there may be holes.
This is why some form of light, whether it be lamps or flashlights, is essential to survival kits. Even if it’s just a small flashlight, you can see debris that may be in your way as well as sharp objects that could cause harm.
When looking for your emergency food supply, an emergency lighting source can come in handy, helping you to sort through things that may have fallen around it. Most important perhaps, modern lighting sources don’t actually use fire, and therefore, they don’t pose a bigger risk for you.
Some people assume that they will be outside anyway, or that their house will stay the same when disaster hits. Furniture may be ruined and cabinets may rock, causing things to fall down. We understand why you may think that the basic structure of your house would be okay, leaving you with some light, but it’s just not always true. Whether or not you luck out, you won’t be sorry for being prepared with a positive light source. You won’t be sorry that you spent as little as $9 to buy a LED light or more to buy a good tactical flashlight.  To alert others to where you are, you may even be extremely happy you bought a flood light.
